Problem of practice
“Static diagrams and photos rarely show how a machine works inside, and hand-building interactive visuals takes a lot of time and skill.”
Learning goal
Designers will be able to create interactive, see-through illustrations that show how a machine works, from a short plain-language description.
What it does
Describe an everyday object, such as a washing machine, kettle or vending machine, and the AI draws it as a hand-inked isometric illustration. You can press its buttons to make it run, drag to turn it all the way round, and switch on See-through and Labels to watch the parts work inside. Each figure is saved as a single HTML file that opens in a browser.
- Describe an object in one sentence and get a working figure
- Drag to turn it all the way round
- See-through view shows the parts moving inside, and Labels name each part
- Working buttons such as load laundry, start, and open door, plus a hand-drawn wobble slider and colour choices
